(Adult Verification Service (AVS) or Adult Entertainment Networks
(AEN) will referred to as AVS for the purposes of this article.)
The first step to becoming a successful adult webmaster is having
a proven gameplan. Its not enough just to build a web site. You
need a long term strategy for success. I will show you one of the
many ways to make money with your websites using the AVS/AEN Strategy.
How much money? Well that all depends on you. You will control your
own destiny. If you will follow this proven gameplan you will have
success and hopefully some fun along the way.
Adult Verification Service (AVS) or Adult Entertainment Networks
(AEN) is a way of protecting an adult website from minors by presenting
internet users with a curtain page that requires them to enter a
password to prove their age. Most AVS systems require the user to
pay for a membership but some offer free memberships as well. The
same password opens thousands of participating adult sites. The internet
user gets adult verification which allows him to access thousands
of participating adult web sites with the same password. The webmaster
gets referral commissions each time an AVS is purchased, and protects
himelf by making sure only adults (not minors) can access adult
material. If you want to learn more about AVS's please visit the

The AVS Strategy in a nutshell is to build many small AVS websites
and make money off the AVS surfers. Other than targeted search engine
traffic, AVS traffic is the best adult traffic available. Every
AVS surfer has a valid credit card, has used it before to purchase
porn online, and is likely to do so again. It's also a good idea
to submit each site regularly with the major search engines. You
won't get much traffic from them, but the traffic you do get is
good quality. This will also give you some extra revenue from AVS
membership sales, although AVS membership sales is not the main
goal in this strategy. The main goal is selling a sponsor to the
AVS Surfer. When you list a site with an AVS you will begin to receive
traffic from their link list. Unlike TGP traffic, AVS traffic is
HIGH QUALITY CONSISTENT TRAFFIC. As long as your link remains in
the AVS's link section you will receive traffic.
Let' be conservative and say that one site listed
with all the big AVS's brings you 300 unique hits a day, that's
9000 uniques a month. Let's say that 3% of them click on your sponsors
banner, that's 270 uniques to your sponsor each month. Using the
industry standard conversion ratio of 1/500 this should make you
1 sale every 2 months. Most good sponsors will pay you at least
$40 a sign up, that's $20 a month for one small site that can be
made in less than a day. Now, imagine you have 100 sites all making
you $20 a month, that's $2000.00 a month! This is where many TGP
webmasters are missing the boat. They are constantly creating galleries,
getting massive low quality traffic for a few days, then their site
dies. With this AVS strategy the traffic never dies, it stays consistent
or grows.
What you don't want to do
1) Do not put too much content in the members area, only put what
the AVS requires to be listed in their link list. You don't want
to satisfy the surfer with your site, you want him to click on your
sponsor. Plus you are going to be creating many small sites and
don't want to waste time making a glorious content area, but make
sure you do what is required by the AVS.
2) Do not make your members area a banner farm as this will 'turn-off'
the surfer. Give the AVS surfer the minimum amount of content required
by the AVS. Pick one or two good sponsors to promote and make sure
your sponsor matches your content. NEVER redirect your AVS traffic
because the AVS will eventually remove you from their link list.
Follow all the rules of the AVS - cheating will get you no where.
What you want to do:
1) Follow up and make sure the AVS actually lists your site in their
links section. Most AVS's are good about listing new sites but sometimes
you may get overlooked due the the high number of sites submitted
to them daily. Keep a log of all the sites you create and periodically
check to see if the site is still in the AVS link list.
2) Resubmit all your sites to the major search engines once per
month. It is a good idea to submit a few each day rather than all
of them in one day.
3) Pick a good pay per join sponsor.
