I caught up StevePP to ask him a few questions. Incase you dont already know
StevePP works for PimpProfits.
JBM:
Hey first of all can you tell us a bit about yourself, how long you’ve
been in the industry, what kind of things did you do before you started with
pimp profits?
STEVEPP:
I'm the General Manager of Pimp Profits, and I handle many different things
on a daily basis. I have been in the industry on a full-time basis for a
little over a year and a half, but I have been doing things within the industry
for a little over 3 years.
JBM:
You’re a big guy how tall are you and how much do you weigh? (if you
don’t mind hehe)
STEVEPP:
I'm about 6'6" and right now I'm a svelte 292. People are always surprised
when I say how much I weigh, which I assume is a good thing hehe.
JBM:
What are the chances of you and peaches uhhh well you know getting to know
each other a little better?
STEVEPP:
Peaches is my sugar momma, so I've already had to "earn my keep" ;).
JBM:
Tell us about pimp profits how it got started.
STEVEPP:
Pimp Profits was started with just a few sites and we mostly generated our
own traffic. After we had built up a bit we starting going after affiliates
and creating tools that would benefit any type of affiliate. Whether it be
someone that submits galleries, a TGP owner, a link list owner, etc we wanted
to have tools to make it easier on everyone. My favorite is our Text Feed
Generator tool. Currently, we have 26 sites in various niches with more niche
sites on the way and will create custom promo content for any affiliate if
they desire!
JBM:
With all the new affiliate programs are you concerned about over saturation?
STEVEPP:
There will always be new programs coming and other programs getting bought
out or shutting down shop. I'm not too worried about over saturation of affiliate
programs.
JBM:
If I or someone reading this were thinking about starting an affiliate program
tommorow. What would you tell them that one can otherwise only learn from
experience.
STEVEPP:
My advice would be to really learn the ropes and know what you are doing. Also,
realize that it takes a lot more time and money to create a successful program
than most realize.
JBM:
You are very well known for your Photochop skills. Would you say this is more
talent or just pure skill?
For instance someone like me who has no artistic talent
whatsoever, could I ever get to that level simply through
practice.
STEVEPP:
I take pride in my chops ;). I would say it's a combination of my twisted imagination
and the tricks I've learned in photoshop from practicing. I don't have much
artistic talent either, most of my twisted ideas pop into my mind fairly
quickly. Something as little as a facial expression will trigger an entire
image in my head.
JBM:
You do design work for pimp profits, do you ever find your job tedious? do
you feel that the outsourcing market has put a huge strain on domestic designers?
STEVEPP:
I only do a tiny part of the design work; Quinn gets to have fun with most
of it :). I never find my job tedious, especially being in a smaller company
there is almost always something to be done. Yes, I think outsourcing has
definitely put a HUGE strain on domestic designers. Overseas designers charging
pennies for a tour compared to what domestic designers used to get for a
tour a few years ago has really put the hurt to some people. .
JBM:
Pimp profits has alot of granny sites. And from what I hear those do pretty
good. Here's my question,
does anybody actually get off on that stuff? or would you
say they buy more out of curiousity?
STEVEPP:
We currently have 4 granny sites. Granny Lovin, Granny Gaggers, Granny Ass
Fucking, and our newest site, Horny and Old. The granny niche has done better
for us than we were expecting, but it is a very pleasant surprise. There
is a a percentage of both. I'm sure some peole join just out of curiosity
and others truly love seeing a granny taking it us the ass. Different strokes
for different folks. Try sending your mature traffic to them and you won't
be disappointed :).
JBM:
Follow up on the previous question, could you see yourself producing this type
of content? Maybe with peaches?
STEVEPP:
I could definitely see myself producing some of this content in the future.
We have at least 20 hours of Peaches content shot, but she won't sign the
docs :(
JBM:
